Wilson Henderson, 79, passed away at the Tri-County Nursing Home on Tuesday evening, November 20, 2018. Wilson was born on June 2, 1939, in Lacoochee, FL, to the late Miss Mary Lee Hembrick. Wilson relocated to Old Town, FL many years ago, and made it his home. During his life, while residing in Old Town, Wilson gained the friendship of many people in the Tri-County area and became known as "Flip." Wilson had a love of riding and repairing bicycles and listening to music on his radio. Wilson will be missed by many friends to include his care staff, special caretakers and friends at Tri-County Nursing Home especially Mrs. Betty Baker (social worker). Special memories will forever reside in the hearts of many children in the Old Town and Cross City area that he considered being his Godchildren, nieces, and nephews. Wilson will also be missed by special friends; Mr. Ralph and Ruth Tyre.
