Will was born to Eddie and Albirthher Newkirk Buie in Chiefland, Florida on June 26, 1943. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Chiefland. In 1995, he joined Bethel Christian Church in Gainesville, Florida. Will graduated from Williston Vocational High School in 1962. Following graduation from high school, he joined the United States Army and was enlisted from 1963 to 1965. In 1966, Will moved to Jacksonville, Florida and was employed at Florida East Coast Railway. He later moved to Moultrie, Georgia, where he graduated from the Police Academy and became a Police Officer. His parents, Eddie and Albirther Buie; Siblings: John Buie, Ethorn Buie, Frank Buie, Earl Buie, James Buie, and Caretha Buie Nelson preceded him in death. His memory will be cherished by a loving family-Children: Audrey M. Chambers, Anita M. Buie, Maurice W. Buie, Veronica Buie, and Will Edward (Takeeta) Buie, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida and Tiffany Norwood of Atlanta, Georgia. Grandchildren: Quinshay Criswell, Christopher Cherry, Inez Buie, Ciera Buie, Damon Buie, QiaNate' Jackson, DaJane'Buie, Ra'Jay Buie, Martez Buie, Jake, Jr. and Will Edward, 3rd. Siblings: Ellic ( Ruby) Buie of Winter Haven, Florida, Eddie Jean Buie Williams of Chiefland, Florida, and Leon (Betty) Buie of Chiefland, a devoted ex-wife: Joyce B.
