Viola 'Patricia" McPherson

Viola McPherson, affectionately known to many as Patricia, was born to Richard McClellan and Thelma Watson.  She was the only girl of 4 children.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard McClellan Jr., Wayne McClellan and Michael McClellan.  Patricia was a lifelong resident of Gainesville, Florida.  She attended the public school system and graduated from Lincoln High School where she was a majorette and a proud member of the Lincoln band.  Patricia went on to college and became a nurse (LPN), in which she served over 40 years caring for patients at Alachua General Hospital until its closing.  She married the love of her life, Walter McPherson who preceded her in death.  To this union was born one child.  She leaves to cherish her memories her only child, Natalie Minter (Rechard), 2 grandchildren Joselyn Sherman and A’yana Brantley;  Bonus Mother Pastor Geraldine McClellan; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and caregivers.
