Ruby L Carriker

Mrs. Ruby Carriker was 104 years old. She was born in Hettinger, North Dakota to Lee Gilbert and Maeme Luking. Ruby was soft spoken, and affectionately known for her love of classical music, birds and flowers. Ruby lived a long and active life. She was organist at the Methodist Church of Litchfield, Illinois for many years. As her health began to fail, she moved to Florida to be near two of her four children. She remained calm and composed up to when the wind decided to blow a fresh wind on November 03, 2024, and she began her journey into heaven's gate. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Joseph M. Carriker and by 8 of her 9 siblings. Ruby will be missed by her four children. Glenn Carriker (Temenuga, Marjorie Paul (Gary), Roy Carriker, Keith Carriker. 8 grandchildren: Susan, Patricia (Wayne), Anthony, Emily (Brian), Cherry (Dave), Bratch (Libby), John (Jody), Sophia, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and close friends. The Carriker Family would like all Floral Arrangements to be sent to D. Williams Mortuary Services.
