Services for Mr. Neal will start at 2:00 p,m.at The Upper Room Ministries C.O.G.I.C ( 3575 NE 15th St. Gainesville, Florida 32609) on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Viewing will be one- hour prior to service. A Time To Rise: On March 20, 1945 Neal Dickerson was born to the parents of Don Dickerson and Susie Gillyard in Gainesville, Florida. He later received education from a public school and went to pursue his first year of college. A Time to Marry: "Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing one another with love..." (1st Peter 4:8). Neal was married to the late Bettye Dickerson who preceeded him death. A Time To Enter The Water: Mr. Neal entered the Navy on January 14th 1966 and continued to serve for 4 years. After serving the Navy, he later worked as and employee at the United States Postal Service for 36 years until he later retired. Even though he worked hard, in his spare time he would fish, work on his cars, watched Nascar Racing, and supported his favorite team, The Florida Seminoles. A Time To Rest: Mr. Neal now leaves his loving and caring family. His Children; Terry Washington, Anthony Hawkins(Kathy), and Gavina Dickerson, His Six Sisters; Juanita Hill, Katherine Dickerson, Shirley Rushing(George), Doris Lewis, Ruthie Dickerson, and Janice Johnson(Walter), His Brother; Don Dickerson Jr.(Gertha), Two sister in laws: Gail Peppers, and Cythnia Cooper. Three brother in Laws : Wayne Cooper, Charles Cooper, and Frederick Cooper.8 grandchildren and I2 great-grandchildren. He joins his wife ; Bettye Dickerson, and his parents Don Dickerson Sr. and Susie Gillyard.
