Services will be held on Saturday,December 7, 2019 At New Salem Baptist Church 5707 SW 62nd Ave Gainesville, FL. @ 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be 30 minutes prior to service. Martha Elizabeth Whittaker was born on February 15, 1954 to the late Charlie A. Turk and Lizzie Pearl Barlow in Sarasota, Florida. Mrs. Martha Whittaker will forever be remembered in the hearts of her loving family: Her mother, Lizzie (John) Shackelford. Siblings: Rosaria Shackelford (Gainesville, FL.), Anthony Shackelford (Atlanta, Ga.), Vernon Shackelford (Atlanta, Ga), Paul Shackleford (Gainesville, FL.), Dormie Shackelford (Arcadia, FL.) and Marie Gilmore (Kingston, NY). Three Nephews: Jeremiah Tisme, Erick Shackelford, and Tavarez Shackelford. Two Nieces: Amya Bryson and Ava- Rose Shackelford. God-aunt, Carrell Owens and God-brother, Lance Hayes. A host of family and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her father, Charlie A. Turk.
