LIFE STORY AND OR OBITUARY
Lorenzo Mincey was born in the year of 1929, in St. Augustine, Fl.
At an early age he moved to Daytona Beach, Fl. Lorenzo attended and graduated from Campbell Senior High School in Daytona Beach. After graduation he enlisted into the United States Army and served until, he was honorably discharged.
Mr., Mincey later moved to Miami, Fl. where he was self-employed as a Tire salesman. After retiring Mr. Mincey moved back to St. Augustine where he became a faithful member of Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, until his health required him to relocate to Tampa, Fl for assistance from family.
Mr. Mincey loved all sports and would sit hours talking with family and friends about sport. His love for sports would often have him traveling to different sporting tournaments across the state of Florida. He enjoyed playing pool, basketball, and watching sports on TV. His vast knowledge and enlightening conversations about sports will truly be missed.
Mr. Mincey was called to eternal rest on January 4, 2024.
He is survived by his children: Patricia Bunkley, Lorenzo Mincey Jr,(Margaret) Chola Little (Muhammad), Levette Ruthersford and a host of grandchildren.
