Services for Mr. Lonnie will be held on December 14, 2019 @ 11:00 a.m. at The Jerusalem Church of God by Faith (1230 NE 156th Ave. Gainesville, Florida 32609. Hosting Pastor Duane Gainey.Lonnie Harvey Jr. When my flag was first lifted: Lonnie Harvey Jr was born to the parents of Lonnie Harvey SR. and Mary Frances Campbell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 4th, 1952. Harvey received his education from a public-school system. A Time To Marry: God says, "He who finds a wife, finds a good thing" (Proverbs 18:22). 45 years ago, Mr. Harvey married at 22 years old to Mrs. Linda Johnson-Harvey, they promised to love each other "Till Death Do Us Part". A Time To Enter The Frontlines: Mr. Lonnie Harvey Jr. fought and served our in The United States Army from March 7, 1973 to March 8, 1976. He retired from the Army and later decided to help keep our community and roads safe and joined the University Of Florida as Traffic PD. But in his spare time, he loved to fish, ride motorcycles and support his favorite sports team the Florida Gators. A Time To Be Loved and Cherished: Mr. Lonnie now leaves his loving family to forever love and cherish his memories: His loving wife, Mrs. Linda Harvey and five children; Lonnie A. Harvey (Elshawana), Byron L. Harvey (Ebony), Devon Walker, Greg Harvey(Nikki) and Andra Harvey, Two sisters; Darleen Sawyer and Denna Brown, Two Brothers; Charles Harvey(Joella) and Ronnie Harvey (Pinky), Six Sister in Law; Mary Horne, Geneva Presley(Larry), Leola Mendez(Joe), Ella Hill (Levern), Dollie Johnson, Sharon Porter(James) Three Brother in Law; David Johnson(Cheryl), Frankie Duncan(Linda) Tony Duncan, 16 grandchildren,three great grandchildren, four godchildren; Tequilia Banks, Christopher Richardson(Natalya) and Davonne Ross and Katrrina Norris Gaither. He now joins his parents, Lonnie Harvey and Mary Frances Campbell, Two of his sisters Ersulene Scott and Debra Williams and also his two brothers Joseph Harvey and Larry Jenkins.
