Gregory Welton Allen was born on Saturday, October 20, 1951 to the late Pie Theresa Thomas and Horace Allen in Chiefland, Florida. Greg passed away at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida, at the age of 66. Greg was a very hard and dedicated worker. Greg leaves to cherish his memories with his six loving sisters: Selena Stripling of Houston, Texas; Linnie Rice of Detroit, Michigan; Linda Allen of Chiefland, Florida; Debra Norfleet (Reggie) of Detroit, Michigan; Karen Wade (Charles) of Miami, Florida; and Inez Corbett (Lawrence) of Warner Robins, Georgia. Three brothers: Johnny Allen of Chiefland, Florida; Kenneth Allen of Miami, Florida; Alford Allen of Miami. Services are held Saturday, September 29, 2018, 1:00pm at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church (310 SW 5th St, Chiefland, FL). Visitation for the family and friends will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018, 4-7pm at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church (310 SW 5th St, Chiefland, FL).
