Eric attended the Alachua County Public Schools in Gainesville, FL.. At an early age, Eric became a believer of Jesus Christ. He attended Cohen Temple First Born Church. He sang in the choir and played the drums. Eric was an active outdoorsman. He loved to fish, fix on old cars, cook, garden, and being with his family. Anyone that met Eric would agree that he was loving, funny, honest, direct, caring, strong, and a hard-working person. Eric leaves to cherish his memories his children; Eric D. Burch, Jr., Darius J. Burch, and Eriana D. Burch, his mother Eliza M. Burch (Claude Rutledge); sisters Jacqueline B. Lawton and Glenda Liebschwager (Duane); brothers James M. Burch, Jr. and Anthony Burch, Sr. (Beverly), Grandmother, Ola Mae Burch Kennedy; The woman he was going to marry, the love of his life LaToya Ricks (her sons KJ and Bradley). And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
