After a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 Easter Tillman transitioned from earth to glory into the arms of God. She was dedicated and committed to her relationship with God and even to the end she was wanting to do more for the kingdom. She was a great woman of faith and loved to share her faith with others. She always had a praise in her mouth. The last word she said with her hands raised in the air was “Hallelujah!”
She will be remembered by her devoted daughter & caregiver Hope Y. Tillman of Gainesville, FL; son Spencer Tillman of Gautier, MS; daughter Shell Pedrosa (Omar) of New Port News, VA; 8 grandchildren (Victoria, Darrian, Reighna, Toeni, Javier, Y’zequiel, Shelonda, Spencer, Jr); 8 great-grandchildren (Sharyah, Ta’Nyah, Amaya, Darrian, Jr., Kalani, Messiah, Lucille, Jalen); brother Eddie Faulk (Phyllis) of Tampa, FL; (brother Gerald Stephens and sister Deborah Stephens both of Alachua, FL; brother Charles Stephens (Ellen) of Orlando, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Those she shared a special relationship with; her best friend Mary Walker-Singleton, goddaughter Stephanie Phifer; Apostle Eliza Tate; Pastor Ruben & Tanya Young, Pastor Kevin & Grace Robinson, Justin & Latoya Mitchell, Jonathan & Jathena Mitchell, and Sonya Johnson-Sumter.
