Gone but never forgotten Cleotha Rafley August 25, 1949 - March 18, 2019
On Monday, March 18, 2019, at the Well Star Atlanta Medical Center. God reached and took Cleotha's hand between 10:00-11:00 a.m. God saw the road had gotten rough, the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed Cleotha's eyes and whispered: "my child come home". TIME TO BE BORN: Cleotha was born in Chiefland, Florida to the late Bud James and Eddie Mae Rafley. She was the firstborn child born to that union. A TIME TO BE EDUCATED: Cleotha attended Chiefland Elementary and Chiefland High School, she graduated with the class of 1967. At an early age, she committed her life to Christ. She joined The Potters House under the leadership of Pastor Lance Hayes. She worked for 14 years for The State of Florida as a Correction Officer and a Dispatcher for the State Troopers. A TIME TO LOVE: She leaves to celebrate her memory: Her Daughter-Ambitt Rafley, Granddaughter Egypt Rafley; Five sisters: Karen ( Charles) Wade (Miami, Florida), Inez (Lawrence) Corbett, (Waner Robins, GA.) Linnie Rice, Debra Allen (Detroit, MI.), Linda Allen (Chiefland, FL); Three Brothers: Kenneth and Alfred Allen ( Miami, FL) & Johnny Allen (Chiefland, FL). Special Friends: Charletta and Vernon Clemmons and host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
