He was born on September 5, 1935 in Blakely, Georgia to Lillian Cook and A.B Ford. Claudie Ford was Affectionately known to many, his Cooking, a sharp dresser, keep car clean. He was a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. Claudie was a supervisor at Tacachale formerly know as Sunnyland and worked University of Florida as Janatorial department. Claudie, will be remembered in the hearts of his beloved Children; Claudie Charlie Ford Jr., Patricia Thomas (David), Laura Ford, Julius Ford "Cecil", LaSchanze Harris, Arness Ford (Norris), Dwayne Ford (Latacha) and Victoria Payne. Mother; Lillian Cooks Williams. Services will be held Friday at 11:00am at Mt Pleasant Cemetary Gainesville Fl. Viewing service will be held at the Clarence Williams lll Memorial Chapel here at D Williams Mortuary Services from 3-7pm.
