Clarence Leon McCray

Mr. Clarence McCray was born April 28,1962 to the late Catherine (McCray) McClain and James McClain. He was last employed with Thomas smith construction company. Clarence was preceded in death by his mother Catherine McClain, daughter Menquin McCray, Grandmother Elizabeth McCray , three aunts Bernice Hill, Ora Bell Lee and Charlotte McCain and five uncles willie James McCray, Johnny Allen, Frank McCray, Nathaniel McClain and Jimmie Ross. 

Clarence calmly made his transition from earth to glory on Friday July 30,2021 at Shands teaching Hospital Gainesville Florida. He leaves to cherish his memories: A loving father James McClain; four loving and caring sisters Melya McClain of Jacksonville FL, Susan Lawson (Terrance Sr) of Gainesville, FL , Monique Spivey (Jermaine) of Ocala, FL, and Joimanda Postell  Of  Hawthrone, FL,; adopted sisters Poppy brown ,Aubrey brown, and Reagen Brown all of Gainesville, FL , Joni Jordan of Jacksonville , FL, and Sunday Mitchell of Indiana; two granddaughters Jayla Darling and Jakayla McCray of Alachua, FL, Aunts Alice McGee (Billie) of Gainesville, FL, Cynthia Banks (Jackie) of Lanett, AL, Williemae Hunt(Fred) of Archer, FL Christine Allen, Johnnie Mae Frreeney of Alachua, FL, Alachua, FL; Two uncles Lee McCray (Carolyn ) Of Gainesville, FL, Melvin McCray Of Ocala, FL; a Very close and loving neighbor and friend Ziporiah Jenkins; a host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
