Charlie "CJ" Gunter passed away on July 16, 2018, in Orange City, FL; at the age of 67. CJ is survived by his children, Nyeesha Gunter (Lennon, Jr) of Lake Helen, FL, Brenda Gunter (Carlos), Wannell Guyton (Kathy); three stepchildren, 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, one sister; Rutha Mae Donaldson. He is preceded in death by his late wife Mary Gunter, and parents Joe Gunter and Lillie Mae Howard. The services for CJ will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, 1pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (30 SW 5th St, Chiefland, FL) Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 11am-6pm. Services of Excellence are under the direction of D.
