Brenda Sutton

With great sadness the family of Ms. Brenda Sutton announce her passing. 

Brenda Ranae Sutton began life’s journey on January 18, 1956, to the union of the late James and Edith Sutton in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was the second oldest of 3 children. She precedes in death by her parents, Brother Jeffery L Sutton, and Grandchildren Josiah Rembert, and Re’anna Sutton.

Brenda dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. She attended Immerse Church of Ocala. She transitioned this earthly world on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Brenda attended Dixie M. Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, FL. A woman of many talents, she became a licensed Cosmetologist. She also attended Culinary Arts School at Florida State Fire College (formerly known as Lowell Fire College). At the age of 42 she graduated from Orlando Vocational Technical College Class of 1998, with a certification in Dietary Management. Before her illness she attended The College of Central Florida, pursuing an Associates Degree in Psychology and Religious Studies. A true woman of God.

She leaves to forever cherish her loving memories, Three devoted Children: Vaughn (Rhonda) Sutton, Conniqua (Lemuel) Woolbright, and Deresha (Tavaris) Rembert all of Ocala, FL. Eleven loving Grandchildren: Deltron Modican, Bre’onna Sutton, Otis Vernon III, Delta Modican Jr, Joshua Rembert, Nevaeh Modican, Jeremiah Rembert, Lem’marius Woolbright, Lemarion Woolbright, Joel Rembert, and J’zion Sutton. One loving and devoted sister: Joyce Edwards of St. Petersburg, FL. One loving uncle: Alphonso”Ben” (Maggie) Varner, of Macon,Ga. Two Niece’s: Shaveka King and Kenya Sutton. One nephew: Mario (Denise) Jones all of St. Petersburg, FL. Six God Children: Atiya Simpkins, Gary Hayes, Marvin Hayes, Latosha Hayes, Kevin Hart, and Jason Hayes. A host of cousin’s family and friends.
