Betty J. Howard McPhee was born on February 24, 1938 to the late Letha Mae Jones and Bishop S.Jones Sr. in Newberry FL.She was educated in Alachua County School system. Betty was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Newberry, Florida where she served as a Stewardess and Faithful member until God called her home.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Artie Howard(Pearl) of Newberry, Fl.and Otis Howard (Ronnice) of Gainesville. Three daughters, Betty Ann McNair (Alvin), of Panama City, Fl., Della Howard and Vivian McPhee of Gainesville Fl. Three sisters Juanita Jones of Panama City. Fl. Vinetta Whitfield of Gainesville and Patricia Whitfield (Willie Sr.) of Newberry, Fl.18 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren,9 great-great grandchildren. A Host of nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and three special friends Ms. Helen Hughes of Newberry, Fl.Ms. Mary Davis of Trenton, Fl. and Ms Vickie Legget of Gainesville, Fl.Services will be on Sunday, August 16, 2020 @ 10:00 am at the St. Mark (Halfmoon) Cemetery of Newberry Florida.We Strictly enforce COVID-19 precautions.
