Barbara Belchie Obituary

Sister Barbara Belchie celebrated and live life to the fullest. Her spirt and smile was very infectious. She never met at stranger always ending the conversation with " Love you more".

She began her journey in Orange Lake born to John D Thaggard (father) and Annie R Turner (mother) both parents proceeded in death. She was very well educated attending Mt Zion High School - Reddick, Fl. She moved to Dayona attending Campbell High School and later transferred to Boylen Haven School Jacksonville, FL from there she graduated and moved to New York were she met and married Fred E. Belchie.

She obtained a job at Western Union where she worked until retirement in 1990. She was a faithfully member of Calvery Unied Methodist Church Bronx, New York and sang in the choir until she moved home to Orange Lake to care for her mother. She began working for Tacacharle and retired after 10 years. Barbara was a faithful member of Solomon Chapel Worship Center where she served as head usher, superitendant of sunday school, member of the Progressive Pallbears Grand Union lodge and a member of choir #1. As her health declined she stepped down from her duties but remained always fairthful and tue to God and her church family.

Surviving - Chilion Belchie (Joy) Georgia, Ariana Belchie (Florida), Patty Stevenson (Will) daughter in love - North Carolina, Kaye Thaggard- daughter in love (New York), Grand children - Branson Belchie Jr, Lorenzo Thaggard Jr, Ryan Belchie Sr, Emari Stevenson, Devin Franklin, Chalion (CeCe) Belchie, Gabriel Belchie, Samone Wimberly, Elizabeth Thaggard, Jason Forbes, Sage Lucas, Gloree Belchie, True Belchie and Forever Belchie  and a host for great grands special cousins and friends.

Proceeded in death Fred E. Belchie (husband), Lorenzo Thaggard Sr. (son), Annie R. Turner(mother) and Charlie Payton (brother)
